RealTime Gaming Overview
Established in Atlanta Georgia in 1998 RealTime Gaming was then acquired in 2007 by financial services company Hastings International based in Curacao. Considering how long they’ve been in the market and their place of birth, it will come as no surprise that RealTime Gaming (RTG) providing gaming platforms for largely US mobile casinos. Thank-fully, most of their casinos will welcome international players from all countries, so if you fall in love with their games, finding an RTG casino to play on will not be difficult.
So let’s start with the dark stain covering this casino software providers name. It might take gaming seriously, but what it doesn’t always, is the legality of the casino. Controversy have surrounded many RTG casinos over player complaints about their treatment at certain casinos. From their end, they point to the Regulatory Body of the casino (usually Curacao or Casto Rica) and go “hey, that’s their jobs. We just provide games”. This has, as you can imagine, infuriated many players and as a consolation prize, they now provide dispute mediation service, the Central Disputes System (CDS) but… reportedly… they simply hand that over to the casino operator anyway. Which kinda defeats the purpose.
But they don’t see themselves as Sheriff of the gaming land. They take GAMING seriously. It’s in the tagline. GAMES. They provide a beautiful platform with beautiful games to operators who have all the right paperwork. Player disputes are not within their job description. We could forgive them this attitude, were it not that RTG gaming provide their games exclusively on their platform. So you won’t find RTG slots mixed with Microgaming games, or NetEnt games. That means that they provide a whole white label platform for operators and as such should be a little more responsible as to whom they hand over controls of their games. Especially as they provide more control over the RTP rate and paytables of games than most other game providers.
That’s a little like saying “Here you go monkey, have the keys to the banana plantation & the factory doors and get started with production. We trust you not to eat all the bananas and actually produce some banoffee pie at the other end. We will go away now and any problems… don’t call us.” We know for a fact that now all monkeys will eat all the bananas, but…

Ultimately, what we are saying, is that you need to pick your Real Time Gaming casino sites very carefully. Trust is important. We do our best to only pick the more reputable brands, but we can all be caught by surprise from time to time.
The games are fantastic. Hard to dispute that. Certified by Technical Systems Tested (TST), there are lots of them to be found, providing a huge variety. Unfortunately though, not for mobile. They currently only provide slot games and of those, the variety is small and not particularly interesting lacking the finesse and details that make other mobile software greats. The graphics are fairly standards, they do very little with the sounds, and the experience is fairly simplistic. The game play, we have to say, is great, with little to no bugs in the system – you’ll be able to play for hours with no sudden breaks in your game play. But we doubt anyone can play for hours on their fairly average mobile games.
But as always, we remain hopeful that they will bring their enthusiasm for online gaming to the mobile world some time soon and improve their RTG games offering as we know they can.
