Who are iGaming2Go? Where are they going? Where did they come from?

All very, very good questions which we were asking ourselves when we first saw their mobile slots at Leo Vegas casino and now at Guts casino. They are a very small, not incredibly well known Eastern European mobile specific casino software provider.

Ok, ok, we too were sceptical about the legitimacy of a software that comes out of nowhere. But so far iGaming2Go have had good feedback and all their mobile games have been thoroughly tested for fairness. The Malta licensed Guts casino wouldn’t have been able to add them to their platform were they anything but squeaky clean mobile slots. So we need to judge them not by our cynical judgemental eye, but by the quality of the games themselves.

This is going to be fun.

So give it to us straight. How bad is it?

Well, so far they have the grand total of 5, yes 5, mobile slots for your perusal. And we won’t lie. It’s not pretty. In fact, the graphics are probably not a good place to start. But we will because we like to be contrary. They are, to be honest, in need of some good graphic designers. We are not saying it’s terrible, but honestly, they need to fire someone and get looking at bulletin boards.

Yes we are being a little harsh, but only one of five of the mobile slots managed to impressed us and not just in terms of graphics, but also gameplay. iGaming2Go have done what every mobile ‘expert’ software has done (read Play n’Go & OMI Gaming) and simplified the slots to such an extent that they lack the impressive punch that the likes of NetEnt, Microgaming or Playtech can bring to the mobile table.

And if you are going to compete with the big boys, better bring some big guns.

So why have Guts Casino added iGaming2Go slot games?

Well, for one, they do work on ALL devices. For two, all hope is not lost. They have proven themselves to be particularly apt at creating classic slots. Well… one slot. But it’s a good one! And if there is something we desperately need in the mobile casino world is more classic slots. Many of the big softwares have released a couple and then tend to throw all their best and brightest video slots to the tablet screen, leaving anyone with a love for the classics with a small selection of choice.

Equally, we are always happy to see newcomers to the scene. Even if most of the games that come out will probably tank and fail, every once in a while they provide us with just one great mobile casino game that will be completely different and unique from our usual favourites. We just love a little hidden gem. It’s the casino equivalent of going to a flea market and finding that 1920’s exact replica of the titanic to scale, when all you were looking for was a new rug for the bathroom.
