Who Is Better? The Casino Cruise Vs Royal Panda Casino Showdown
July 18th, 2016Welcome to the first of our casino showdown series! Here we compare two similar mobile casinos and answer the all important question… Who is better?
Want to know why we are writing these instead of simply getting you to read the Royal Panda casino review, or the Casino Cruise review?
Because, and we say this with plenty of love in our hearts, some of you are… kinda lazy.
And so we get you guys using the LuckyMobileCasinos.com contact to ask which of the casinos on our list you should play.
We decided to compare them so we can just point you in the right direction. In this case two brilliant online casinos that both scored 3.9 in our reviews.
Because if you are going to compare, you need to do apples to apples, otherwise we might as well just give you our five top casinos and be done with it.
But, that’s boring. We have so many great mobile casino reviews on our list, we figure we start our way somewhere in the middle and work our way up.
The best first impression: Casino Cruise or Royal Panda?
Anyone who’s ever been on a blind date knows that first impressions count.
Play in 26 Different Currencies at Casino Cruise
Including GBP, CAD, AUD, USD, EUR, NOK, SEK and more…
If you think a casino site looks sleek and cool and awesome, you’re going to want to click on through and see what else is on offer.
Personally, we like the kooky Panda mascot you get at Royal Panda casino. It has nothing to do with iPhone or mobile Android casinos, per say, but who cares?
Ain’t he just cute and fluffy and fun? He’s always there, creating a lively vibe to the site.
Mascot aside, you know where you stand with Casino Cruise
Casino Cruise does have the advantage that it’s theme, a beautiful cruise ship somewhere in the Mediterranean, just lends itself beautifully for an online casino.
You automatically get that feel of luxury, and you know exactly what button to press to get onboard.
With Royal Panda, they have so much information on the first page, and so much text, it can feel a little distracting, when all you really need to know is where to register and how to find the games.
And the winner is…
Casino Cruise wins for being slightly less cluttered and getting straight to the point.
Each give you an exclusive casino welcome bonus
This would be the part where we talk about the welcome bonus offer you get; and the advantage you have here is that both give LuckyMobileCasinos.com an exclusive online casino bonus.
Royal Panda casino welcomes all, including Australia and Canada.
Play in the following currencies: GBP, EUR, USD, CZK, PLN, MXN, SEK, BRL
So we’ve been asked to approve these before we give them to you, and have a good idea of which is better.
At first glance, you’d assume that Casino Cruise has this one in the bag as they give you:
- Exclusive: 55 free spins on Starburst when you register
- Exclusive: 150% up to £$€300 on your first deposit + 100 free spins on Starburst
- 2nd deposit bonus: 50% up to £€$200
- 3rd deposit bonus: 25% up to £€$300
- 4th deposit bonus: 25% up to £€$300
Which is pretty darn awesome. But we have to lean slightly over to the black and white bear in our lives as…
Royal Panda casino terms and conditions are better
For one, when you register at Casino Cruise, you don’t get your no deposit casino bonus until the next day, having to wait 24 hours to get it.
Royal Panda’s 10 free spins no deposit is given to you straight away, you simply register and open up Starburst. You then get a bigger first deposit bonus of 100% up to £€$200 in cash when you are ready.
Then there’s the wagering. Royal Panda’s wagering is on the bonus only at 35x, whilst Casino Cruise is 40x.
Finally, you only need to make a first deposit of £€$10 at Royal Panda to get your bonus, whilst Casino Cruise asks for £€$20.
The differences are slight, but we have to mention them.
And the winner is…
The Casino Cruise bonus is easily more impressive, but the Royal Panda bonus has friendlier terms, so they have to be our winners, but it’s a close one.
Why you’d keep playing at one over the other
You like the look of the casino, you’ve taken the bonus, you’ve played a bit.
Both Casinos are licensed in Malta and by the UK Gambling Commission.
Royal Panda, however, has a 24 hour cashout time, whilst Casino Cruise is 48 hours.
Now why would you stick around and come play again? Because they have an awesome loyalty program and frequent casino promotions, keeping things interesting at all times.
And sure, if you go to Casino Cruise, you’ll see that they have a whole page full of promotions. A weekly bonus, a monthly reload, even a cruise giveaway every other month.
They even have a great casino loyalty program where deposits turn to points, which you can then turn to cash. It’s all very safe.
The Royal Panda loyalty shop and funky promotions
And maybe you like safe, familiar, casino promotions, then Casino Cruise is obviously for you. You know what you’ll be getting month to month, with a big focus on reload deposit casino bonuses.
Royal Panda casino on the other hand has a loyalty shop. So whilst you still can turn those points you got from playing (every spin counts, they don’t do it by deposit) can be turned into cash or rewards.
We are talking free spin bonuses, headphones, even a trip to Vegas if you’re super loyal.
Add that they frequently have promotions that are a little unusual (winning your own body weight in chocolate, getting free spins everyday for every goal scored in the football, etc…) and they keep things interesting.
Practically identical mobile casino games
And of course, there’s the all important selection of mobile and online casino games.
Both passed our customer service test for fast, polite and intelligent response.
However, Royal Panda casino is open from 09:00 – 00:30pm GMT, whilst Casino Cruise is open from 08.00 – 22.00 GMT.
Which is actally the hardest thing to distinguish as both have Aristocrat, Evolution Gaming, Leander, Microgaming, Net Entertainment, NextGen, and Thunderkick as part of their casino game selection.
That means a beautiful live casino section, some amazing video poker machines from Microgaming, gorgeous roulette tables from NetEnt and, of course, slots. So many mobile slot machines.
Casino Cruise only wins slightly here because they also have Play’n GO, which is a software we very much enjoy, mostly because of their casino slots rather than table games.
But there is certainly enough slots here to go round on both.
And the winner is…
Royal Panda has a kick ass loyalty program and like to think out of the box when it comes to casino promotions. Even without Play’n GO, their game selection still rules.
And the overall winner is…. Royal Panda casino!
It’s not an easy decision, and it’s a very close ruling. After all, there is a reason why both casinos got 3.9 in the reviews; they are actually both really good in their own way, and fairly similar.
We just like the way Royal Panda does things a little differently, and their terms and conditions are a little more fair than Casino Cruise. Plus they really give table game players the focus they deserve and not just concentrate on slots.
But you can’t deny that playing at Casino Cruise is sleek affair, has gorgeous games, and a huge welcome offer that will no doubt tempt many.
Do you agree with our choice? You can easily take either of the no deposit bonuses and check them out for yourself, but we know where we’d start.
