How to play Jacks or Better Viaden
This is two mobile video poker reviews in one. If you are playing this at an instant play casino (Leo Vegas for example) it will look like someone squashed the game on your screen.
Now in the game rules it says the return to player rate is 99.54% – which would put it equal to a 9/6 video poker machine. However, this is an 8/6 game, so we don’t see how that possible. It’s more likely to be 98.39%, which is still acceptable, but not a full pay video poker machine.
So that confused us and made us wonder who was making the calculations on this game.
However, it does have a double up and double half gamble feature, allowing you to bet your winnings or half your winnings for a little extra, which we enjoy.
There are few mobile video poker games that give you a decent return to player rate and multi-hand Jacks or Better video Poker to boot.
There is no doubt that the download version of this multi hand video poker slot is by far the nicer game to play and the reason why it gets a solid three stars. However, be aware that on your Android phone you may get the choice of less hands (up to 10 and not 25).
Not quite a ‘well done Viaden Gaming’, but a good effort.

Conclusion
This was a hard review to do as the game seems to change depending on the mobile phone or tablet and whether you manage to download it or not. On Android it only takes half the screen and gives you 10 hands, on iPad it’s squashed but you get 25 hands, if you download it to your iPhone it’s near perfect…
Still, Viaden is trying to give you the multi-hand Jack’s or Better experience on your mobile phone and overall they manage, even if it’s not always the prettiest. The RTP is up for debate, but even at the lower scale, it’s still playable.
